24km, Bergen weight 35lb minimum weight not including water and food, around 4-4500 feet of ascent in total.
I was beginning to feel as though the weight of the bergen was manageable and I'd be able to handle the weight on the Fan Dance. For me this spells overconfidence in my ability and may make me under-estimate the task in hand. So I increased the weight. My bergen now weighs 20.5kg or 45lb, I only need it to weigh 35lb plus water on the day.
I did the Troserch Oval once in a time of 51 minutes and 14 seconds only 2 minutes and 13 seconds slower than my last time on this course but carrying an extra 5kg! I did however have to walk about half of 'Burning Calfs hill' instead of the usual third, I still managed to make it to the top only 1 minute slower than yesterday. My target is 19minutes at the top, today I was at the top in 20minutes 6 seconds.
