24km, Bergen weight 35lb minimum weight not including water and food, around 4-4500 feet of ascent in total.
Tried a new course to include a steep hill I am missing out on the 'oval'. The course details can be seen in the key to the bottom right. This course is VERY muddy sometimes up to mid calf and very slippery over roots, with some small very steep sections. There are several places where I almost had to crawl under fallen trees which my Bergen kept getting caught in. Today I almost fell flat on my face twice. I'm not sure how much I get out of this course fitness wise as compared to the 'Troserch Oval Twice' but it certainly is fun and still very hard work! I managed to complete it today in 1 hour 16 minutes and 34 seconds.
Key to runs at the bottom of this section.

I plan to do this race with my brother 'Strider' (Link to his blog above) on 20th July 2013, mainly to see if at 44 I still have the 'stones' to be able to do it.
