The hill that beat me yesterday beat me again…twice, on the second climb I tried my hardest not to look up to see how much was left, I glanced up once and all the energy just disappeared from my legs. I had to walk about 50 yards again. Today I found some of the down hill sections almost as hard as the uphill as they are immediately after an uphill and then to suddenly go down hill steeply, sometimes down rough unevenly placed makeshift steps, made my legs feel like jelly.
The total distance of the run was 6.97 miles and having a total elevation gain of 837feet. I completed the run in 1hour 12minutes 3seconds.
